Nice. The tips are spot on for people who are renting, it’s important to put everything in writing and to check everything too, the paper bills, etc. It keeps you on track of your expenses and how much you consume every month.
I think an owner should have a say even if the person has the money, as to whether they want them to rent or not. If you have a gut feeling as an owner to pass, I say pass. All good tips here to consider.

When we moved out of an apartment a few years ago, I did not realize I needed to get a receipt for turning in the keys. Because the lady didn’t write it down, they charged us for days we had moved out. It was such a nightmare. Now I get everything in writing.
